Frequently asked questions

How do I create an account?
Download AI Interviewer from the App Store and open the app. Your account is created automatically on first launch — no email address or password is required. New accounts receive 15 free interview minutes with no credit card required.
Do I need to sign in?
No. The app signs you in automatically using your device. If you reinstall on the same iPhone or iPad, your account and data are usually restored. If you switch to a new device, you start with a new account. For help moving data between devices, contact support.
How do I upgrade to Pro?
Tap Upgrade to Pro anywhere in the app or go to Profile → Subscription. Payment is processed securely through the App Store. Your subscription begins immediately after purchase.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed entirely through Apple. To cancel:
  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone
  2. Tap your name → Subscriptions
  3. Select AI Interviewer and tap Cancel Subscription
You'll retain Pro access until the end of the current billing period.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, find your AI Interviewer purchase, and submit a refund request. Apple typically processes requests within 48 hours.
I switched phones. How do I restore my purchase?
Sign in to the app with the same Apple ID you used to purchase your subscription. Your subscription is automatically recognised. If it isn't, go to Profile → Subscription → Restore Purchases.
How do mock interview sessions work?
Start a new session from the home screen, choose a role and topic, then answer the AI interviewer's questions by typing or using voice input. After each answer you receive instant feedback. At the end of the session you get a full report with scores and improvement tips.
Why is the AI response slow?
Response speed depends on your internet connection and server load. Pro subscribers benefit from priority processing. If you experience consistent delays, check your connection and try again. If the issue persists, let us know.
What CV formats are supported?
We support PDF, DOCX, and DOC files up to 10 MB. For best results, use a clean single-column PDF without scanned images or embedded graphics that contain text.
Is my CV stored on your servers?
Your CV is uploaded and processed to generate analysis and personalised questions. It is stored securely and is never shared with third parties. You can delete it at any time from Profile → My CV → Remove.
